To accommodate vehicular traffic, the Borough’s six municipal parking lots are easily accessible from the downtown and our parks. Most are metered with the exception of the "Free" lot at Cherry Alley and Mechanics Alley, the West High Street lot at Peace Alley, and the lot adjacent to Community Park at Spruce Street and Washington Streets. Meter rates in the Borough's lots and on-street parking range from $.05/hour to $.25/hour.  Please read the meter face to determine the maximum length of time that is on the meter, different meters have different time limit durations.

Parking meters are active Monday - Saturday, 9AM - 6PM, except in the "Red Lot" which is located at W. High Street and S. Peach Alley (behind the Public Library); the meters in the Red Lot are active from 8AM - Midnight.  Meters are not enforced on Sundays and on special dates as approved by Borough Council.

Parking of any vehicle on any parking lot owned, operated, or managed by the Borough, or on any Borough street, for a continuous period of time greater than 72 hours is prohibited.
