Borough Resolutions

Elizabethtown Borough Council adopts Resolutions as an official statement of opinion, intent, or policy. Resolutions do not require formal advertisement or hearings, and are typically considered temporary as they lack the permanent enforceability of an Ordinance. Resolutions, which Borough Council can approve or repeal with a single vote, are most commonly used for governing municipal activities, such as making investments and awarding contracts, disposing of records, establishing workplace policies, or setting Borough fees.
