Laborer - Public Works Department
Elizabethtown Borough is seeking a Public Works Department Laborer to assist with performing manual tasks that are required to properly maintain and operate the Borough streets, parking lots, storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, parks, buildings, and properties.  This job requires light and heavy physical labor and indoor and outdoor work consistent with the operations of the Public Works Department.  This position is responsible for operating power tools, construction and maintenance equipment and vehicles.  Evening and weekend work may be required.  Must be a high school graduate (or equivalent), have a valid PA driver's license, and a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).  Competitive hourly rate and an excellent benefit package including health insurance and a defined contribution pension plan.  Applications accepted until the position is filled.  Click here for a job description.  EOE

Crew Foreman - Public Works Department
Elizabethtown Borough is seeking a Public Works Crew Foreman to assist with proper maintenance and operation of Borough streets, storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, parks, buildings, and properties.  The Public Works Crew Foreman will be responsible for providing leadership and directing public works crews on the job site when performing utility repairs and other associated work.  The position requires light and heavy physical labor and indoor and outdoor work consistent with the operations of the Public Works Department.  The position reports directly to the Assistant Public Works Director.  Evening and weekend work may be required.  Must be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and have a valid PA driver's license and Class B Commercial Driver’s License.  Starting hourly rate at $21.25 / hr. with opportunities for overtime and an excellent benefit package including health insurance and a defined contribution pension plan.  Applications accepted until the position is filled. Click here for a job description.  EOE
